Minish blocks are biocompatible and have the most similar physical properties to natural teeth of any ceramic material on the market, including fracture strength, compressive strength, tensile strength, abrasion, elasticity, transparency, and coefficient of thermal expansion.
Therefore, a tooth with a restoration made of Minishblock will have compressive strength, tensile strength, and elasticity close to the properties of the original natural tooth.
In clinical practice, wear is more important than the strength of the material. A treated tooth needs to wear down like the natural tooth it’s adjacent to, so it doesn’t damage the adjacent tooth. Minishblock’s wear is more than 99% consistent with natural teeth.
Starting in 2025, Minish Technology will source the second generation of Minish Blocks from VITA Zahnfabrik, a German dental materials specialist with whom we have an exclusive supply partnership.
The Minish robot is equipped with an automatic tool changer, touchscreen, and dual spindles, and can process small parts in less than 15 minutes on average.
With a high-frequency spindle up to 100,000 RPM and closed-loop servo control, it offers excellent post-machining conformability and is optimized for machining minish restorations.
The acoustic cover is 60 decibels (db) or less, making it safe for use in the dental office.

Unlike typical photopolymerizers, Minish photopolymerizers feature a custom design for perfect bonding and soft curing technology to minimize the risk of micro-leakage.

In addition, the product utilizes an ergonomically designed 2 mm light guide tip for spot curing to better help minish adhere perfectly.

The minishaver is made of diamond-coated and tungsten carbide material, which provides high hardness and durability and allows for precise cutting of teeth.
This is especially effective when machining minish restorations.
It also leaves a smooth surface after processing, with low vibration for a stable procedure.
