Jung Ho Kang, CEO of Minish Technology, is featured as an innovator who has changed the paradigm of dental care in the new book, CEOs, Crossing the Crisis Hurdle (pictured). The book profiles 16 CEOs who have succeeded in their fields by challenging and innovating, and Kang’s patient-centered care philosophy is highlighted.
Dr. Kang created Minish to restore beauty and function while preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible. This innovative approach has been proven effective in tens of thousands of clinical trials and has been used to treat everyone from celebrity idols to CEOs of large corporations.
The book also emphasizes that Kang approaches dental care as a process that improves patients’ quality of life, not just a medical procedure. His philosophy of prioritizing patient convenience, including night clinics, one-day treatment systems, and minimizing pain during anesthesia, was the driving force behind the founding of Minish Technology in 2021 and its global expansion.
Today, Minish is rapidly expanding beyond its home market into global markets: it has entered Vietnam through an agreement with Binh Mek International Hospital in Hanoi, part of the Binh Group, dubbed the “Samsung of Vietnam,” and in Japan, Minish Members’ Clinics (MMCs) are open in eight locations, including Shinjuku, Tokyo.
In February 2025, we successfully held our first clinical seminar in Tokyo, attended by over 100 local dentists. In the U.S. market, we opened an MMC in Beverly Hills, LA, with our first Minish seminar and academy scheduled for May 2025.
“I feel the most rewarding and happy when patients get a bright smile after treatment,” says Mr. Kang, who believes that “it is more rewarding to benefit more patients” and is expanding the business on a global scale.
Recognized for its innovative achievements, including the Grand Prize in the New Technology category at the Korea CEO Management Awards last year, Minish Technology plans to continue its technology development and global expansion to help patients keep their teeth longer and live healthier lives.
